Drawing Natural Forms from Life
6 Fridays, June 15th Through July 27th, No class June 29th, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Learn to develop a natural, individual drawing style using forms from nature as your subject. Movement, use of positive and negative space, exaggeration, choice of composition and employment of light are some of the means of imparting individual character to natural forms. Pencil, pen and ink and charcoal are the materials that will lead us to our discoveries. $120 for Members for 6 week class, $150 for Non-Members.
Class will be taught by Kathie Milligan. Kathie received her MFA in painting in spring 2007 from the New York Studio School in Manhattan. She is a multi-media artist concentrating on drawing and painting and presently divides her time between teaching and landscape painting.
