Darien Antiques Show

  • If you are looking for something special and distinctive to add to your home, the 44rd Annual Darien Antiques Show is the perfect place to find it.  The show, which benefits local nonprofit organizations, is known for having high quality, reasonably priced antiques from nearly 40 of the Northeast's better antiques dealers.

Visitors to this year's show will have the chance to get a family heirloom appraised by appraiser Christine Downing. Ms. Downing, who owns the Norwalk auction gallery C. Downing Auctions and was a featured appraiser on the HGTV hit show "Cash in the Attic," do complimentary "road-show" style appraisals on Saturday and Sunday (see website for times).  Bring in those potential treasures to find out just how valuable they are!  Have a delicious home made lunch in the Antiques Show Cafe, and browse a wonderful variety of booths showing something for every budget and decorating need. The historic First Congregational Church of Darien offers a warm and friendly atmosphere, conducive to browsing and discussion with the extremely knowledgeable antique dealers.

The show supports local charities including emergency shelters, food banks and social service organizations. The primary beneficiary of the Preview Party will be St. Luke’s LifeWorks of Stamford, a not-for-profit organization which  plays a critical role in providing learning opportunities, housing and support services to people overcoming homelessness right here in Fairfield County.
