Dinner Downtown

The outdoor dining makes our list for its breezy ambiance and prime people-watching potential. Watch the crowds running up and down Bedford and suddenly you’re a scene from “Annie Hall.” Whether you prefer 's sidewalk section or Lola’s open dining room, this is the time for a night out(side) on the town.

Check Out Some Local Art

Stamford may not have the museums of larger cities, but it has a small art scene of its own. Wandering a gallery is a fun (and free) way to spend some time this summer, grab a drink and dessert afterward and you’ve got a complete evening.’s current exhibit, Far Away Places, is open to the public until 8 pm on Friday and 3 pm on Saturday.
