Nine Piglets Born in Stamford Same Day as Royal Prince

Like the Royal Prince in England, the nine newborn piglets at Stamford Museum & Nature center have yet to be named.

As the world welcomed the birth of the royal prince in England on Monday, the Stamford Museum & Nature Center celebrated the birth of nine piglets – six girls and three boys.  The piglets' birth, according to a release from the Stamford Museum & Nature Center, came after a seven year gap since piglets were born on Heckscher Farm, the Nature Center's educational farm.

Similar to the birth announcement posted at Buckingham Palace, an official birth announcement has been posted outside of the piglets’ pasture on Heckscher Farm.  Both mom and babies are doing well, according to the release, though no names have been selected.

Do you have any suggestions for names for the piglets at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center? Tell us in the comments.
