Description: Spring Concert: Folk Duo   The Sea, The Sea; Chuck Costa Returns with Mira Stanley. Chuck Costa, CT State Troubadour 2011-2013, returns to the library and performs original, contemporary folk tunes in the duo The Sea, The Sea with Mira Stanley.

Costa has been widely recognized across the folk circuit over the years, most recently 2010 Falcon Ridge Emerging Artist, 2008 Rocky Mountain Folk Fest Winner, and more. Stanley is a seasoned performer (Mountain Stage, NPR, PBS).  With Costa in The Sea, The Sea,  'two distinct, award-winning songwriters ... create emotionally spare music, simple and true.'  --Amy Speace.  At the heart of this duo are smooth intricate harmonies anchored by honest songwriting.
