Get Ready for Alive@Five Tonight in Stamford

Tonight, Stamford's Downtown Special Services District kicks off it's annual summer concert series with 2013's first installment of Alive@Five.
Sporting a brand-new look with a super-handy layout and user-friendly interface, the Stamford DSSD is kicking off the outdoor event with the Como Brothers Band and Brooks Young Band opening up for The Wallflowers.
Kicking off at 5 p.m. (Duh!), Stamford police warned of traffic rerouting during the concerts via a message earlier this week. They provided the following information:
"Please be aware of the following road closures:
• 2 p.m. - West Park Place between Summer Street and Washington Blvd
• 3 p.m. – Main Street between Washington Boulevard and Summer Street and Main Street from Atlantic Street to Summer Street. All traffic that comes south on Summer Street be routed to Bank Street.
• 4 p.m. - Summer Street closes at Broad Street.
All roads should be open by Midnight."
Next week, on June 27, The Mavericks are headlining with McAllister Drive and Keith Paine featuring and opening, respectively.
