Free Sewing Class at the Ferguson Library

Sign up to learn how to thread a sewing machine and stitch away during this free class sponsored by Friends of the Ferguson Library. Starts Thursday, August 8th, 6:00-7:30pm at the Ferguson Library.

Get stitching in August at the Ferguson Library with a new class that will introduce the basics of sewing. Learn how to thread a sewing machine, then try some stitches of your own. A sewing machine will be available for practice, but participants are encouraged to bring their own machines and thread. Registration required. 

Register online at fergusonlibrary.org (calendar of events for August) or call 203 351-8224. While you're on the registration page, check out all the other cool programs on offer - from classes on internet and computer use to storytimes for children and the movie series. All the programs are generously supported by the Friends of The Ferguson Library. 

The class starts Thursday, August 8th and runs from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. The class will be held in the Main Library third floor computer lab. There are 12 spaces available in the class, but registration is required.
