Dust Off the Shovels - It's Snow Season Again in Stamford

It's just about time to dust off those shovels and get ready for another season of snow. Tuesday looks like it could bring Stamford its first signs of snow for the season.

According to weather.com, a strong cold front will move through the area during the overnight hours heading into Tuesday and dramatically drop temperatures. Showers are expected to reach the Fairfield County area by the early morning hours and, as cold temperatures move in behind the front, change precipitation into a rain/snow mix with the possibility of becoming all snow between 4 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Minimal accumulation is expected with half-an-inch or less anticipated, so thankfully you probably won't actually need the shovel, though slippery road and low visibility conditions may still become an issue.
