Of course, if you’re getting your tree now, it’s worth noting that firs and pines will generally keep their needles longer than spruce. Always double check hours and availability while planning your trip and note that many locations only take cash or check.

Open November 26—December 23, Tuesday through Friday noon—4 pm, Saturday and Sunday 10 am—4 pm.
Cut your own Douglas Fir; White Spruce; or Blue Spruce, or choose from pre-cut Fraser Fir, Caanan Fir, or Balsam Fir. It’s a short drive and a portion of the proceeds benefit the Connecticut Audubon Society.

This tree farm has been family owned and operated since 1842. They offer cut-your-own trees (Blue Spruce, White Spruce, Serbian Spruce, White Pine, Fraser Fir, Douglas Fir, and a limited supply of Con color Fir) and pre-cut trees. The farm also offers live balled and burlap trees.

Open November 25—December 25 from 9 am—dark. Customers are still welcome after dark, but advised to bring a flashlight
Cut your own Blue Spruce, Concolor Fir, Balsam Fir, White Spruce, or Norway Spruce. All trees are hand pruned and organically grown.

The farm offers 200 acres of cut-your-own and a Homestead Barnyard filled with fresh-cut. Varieties include Blue Spruce, Balsam Fir, Douglas Fir, Fraser Fir, White Fir, and White Pine.
