Today Show Correspondent Jeff Rossen to MC Stamford Hospital Gala

In a show of support for quality healthcare, Jeff Rossen, National Investigative Correspondent for NBC’s Today Show and leader of the “Rossen Reports” investigative unit, will emcee Stamford Hospital’s ninth annual Dream Ball gala on Saturday,

November 2.

An NBC News Correspondent since 2008, Rossen has covered many high-profile stories, including a legendary interview with Charlie Sheen, the David Goldman kidnapping case and the death of Michael Jackson. In the past year, “Rossen Reports” has made a difference for millions of Americans, exposing child safety issues like easy-to-open pill bottles, bouncy house dangers, toppling television sets and smoke alarms that fail to wake kids up.

Prior to joining NBC News, Rossen was a reporter at WABC-TV where he covered the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, Ronald Reagan’s death and the London terrorist attack.

Gala attendees will also be treated to a live performance by the Doo Wop Project. Featuring current and former stars from Broadway’s smash hits Jersey Boys and Motown: The Musical, the Doo Wop Project offers unparalleled authenticity of sound and vocal excellence to recreate some of the greatest music in American pop and rock history. Throughout the show, listeners will hear foundational tunes from groups like the Crests, Belmonts and Flamingos as well as hits from Michael Jackson, Jason Mraz and Amy Winehouse.

The Dream Ball will take place at Stamford Hospital’s Tully Health Center, 32 Strawberry Hill Court, Stamford on Saturday, November 2. Cocktails will be served at 6 p.m., and dinner and dancing will begin at 7 p.m.
