The Human Services Council’s Children’s Connection Annual Toy Drive is Underway and They Need Your Help

As the 2013 holiday season gets underway, the Human Services Council’s  (HSC) Children’s Connection, is busy prepping for Children’s Bank, their annual holiday toy drive.  There are many ways for the community to get involved in Children’s Bank, you can fulfill a wish for a specific child, organize a gift drive at your company or community group, donate general gifts for children in need, or contribute a financial donation.  This year, Children’s Bank is expected to provide gifts to almost 3,000 children living throughout lower Fairfield County.  Donations can be dropped off at The River Park Plaza, 800 Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk from Dec. 3rd – Dec. 12th or at HSC’s Offices at 1 Park Street, Norwalk after December 12th.

One of those companies that continue to support this wonderful program is Sequel International.  When asked why her company supports Children’s Bank, Irene Tullo, Vice-President of Creative Services and an HSC board member responded, “Sequel International has participated in Children’s Connection’s Holiday Drive for several years.  It is one way our company can give back to those less fortunate, and allow our employees and partners to make a difference in the community.  The Children’s Bank provides gifts for children and families who are most in need this holiday season and we are proud to be a part of their great organization”.
