Tennis CT Serves up Five USTA Connecticut Championship Contenders

Darien, CT – Tennis CT, a tennis management company operating seven tennis facilities in southwestern Connecticut, today announced that of the 19 teams that have qualified for the USTA Connecticut Jr. Team Tennis Championships during the 2013-2014 Winter Season, five are from Tennis CT’s clubs.

During the 2013-2014 Winter Season, 74 teams competed in the Southern Connecticut Jr. Team Tennis League.  The league is the largest in the USTA’s New England region and has over 3,500 junior players participating in events throughout the year. The 2014 USTA Connecticut Jr. Team Tennis Championships will take place in August at various sites throughout Connecticut.

“I’m extremely proud of our teams and I congratulate our pros and our players” remarked Jeff Gocke, Tennis CT, President.  “Achieving this level of success is the result of our junior players’ commitment and hard work, to the excellent coaching and guidance of our pros, and to the support of the juniors’ parents. I wish our teams continued success in the upcoming Championship tournament and throughout their promising tennis careers.”
