Make-A-Wish® Connecticut appoints Tia Silas to its Board of Directors

Make-A-Wish® Connecticut is proud to announce that it recently has appointed Tia Silas to its Board of Directors. The mission of Make-A-Wish is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Tia is Vice President, Office of the CEO, for Pitney Bowes Inc.  She began her career at Pitney Bowes in 2010 as a Human Resource Business Partner. Since then she has taken on assignments in HR Business Services and as Director of Talent Acquisition where she led the centralization of the North America and Global Software Talent Acquisition functions and worked to enhance operational excellence. Prior to joining Pitney Bowes, Tia served in various HR Roles with Macy’s Inc, JCPenney and Amalgamated Life Insurance.
