STAMFORD, CONN. November 26, 2013 – Fleet Feet Sports Stamford, which opened at 168 Bedford Street on May 30th, is donating 10% of its sales on Saturday, December 7th to the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford. As part of the first annual Give a Little Heart & Sole campaign, the specialty running and walking retail store will also offer a 15% discount to all customers on such items as shoes, socks, inserts, sports bras, and apparel.

Troy Burk, co-owner of Fleet Feet Sports Stamford said “We realize the importance of supporting our local community during the holiday season. It’s our way of thanking the Stamford community for welcoming us and helping everyone get a jumpstart on their holiday shopping.” The proceeds from the campaign will directly go to the after-school program at the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford.  “[Fleet Feet Sports has been a tremendous community partner since their arrival in Stamford.  Troy and his team have shown a true commitment to helping our kids and improving our programs,” said Michael Cotela, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford. “I can’t express how much we appreciate this great effort that Fleet Feet Sports Stamford is making on behalf of the youth of Stamford.”
