The national partnership also includes education and training programs for administrators and volunteer coaches to use across all team sport programs through the National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS). NAYS is a non-profit focused on creating positive and safe team sports experiences.

“It is incredibly important to teach our youth about the importance of team sports and sportsmanship at a young age,” said Mike Cotela, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Stamford.  “Through the All Stars program Buffalo Wild Wings is providing an opportunity for kids to enhance their social skills, actively participate in sports and create friendships and memories that last a life time. So far our kids have  enjoyed the league tremendously which has provided weekly winners of the Buffalo Wild Wings Hot Sauce Player of the Week Award.”

“We are proud to partner with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to create the All Stars program that will help teach sportsmanship and build self-confidence in young people through team sports,” said Mary Twinem, Buffalo Wild Wings chief financial officer.  “It is a priority for Buffalo Wild Wings to support our local communities and through this program we are able to empower thousands of young people to be active and participate in team sports leagues.”

Buffalo Wild Wings expects to raise more than $1 million over the next two years through a variety of promotions including sauce and seasoning bottle sales as well as numerous in-store fundraising activities.
