RMS Residential Hosts a Night of Italian Design

RMS RESIDENTIAL, luxury home builders, headquartered in Stamford hosted a “Night of Italian Design” with Mis En Scene, a high end home design store and commercial design center in Greenwich on Thursday night. Over 100
guests attended to see exclusive products debuting and sold at Mis En Scene and to meet the designers and owners who arrived to meet and greet Architects and Designers of Southern Fairfield and Westchester County. Claire Maestrioni and RichardMele, partners and owners of MIS EN SCENE prepared the setting last Thursday night for all eyes to adore. Each and every section of the store was impeccably decorated to showcase their exclusive vendors and unique items. MIS EN SCENE is a design and

retail showroom located in the heart of Greenwich offering beautiful furniture from France, Belgium and Italy. They are well known for their sophisticated Euro-style and  reasonably priced resources that they have hand-selected from European manufacturers. Turco, of ALEX TURCO DESIGN was also here from his Miami/Milan studios to present his WATERPROOF ART PANELS. “It was such a special treat to have the actual Designer present to explain his new concepts of art and how they are applied to interior design.” Said Maestroni.  Unlike most works of art that typically can only be displayed in rooms with optimal environments, the WATERPROOF ART PANEL has the versatility, for the 1st time, of being exhibited and appreciated in any location, even those subject to water and extreme conditions
of weather and temperature. These artworks designed by ALEX TURCO are made of aluminum coupled with polyethylene. The graphic images are laser printed and hand processed with acrylic colors and metal pigments followed by a protective finish with resin layering and waterproof dripping techniques. These stunning art works are easily installed and can be applied onto any surface with a choice of universal bonding techniques. The WATERPROOF ART PANEL was specifically created with large-scale architectural projects in mind for the most exacting clients requests. A sample wall has been installed at the Greenwich Store.  Representatives from the state of the art MINOTTI CUCINE Italian kitchen design line were also present this one special night to walk Designers and Architects through their recently installed, Terra Kitchen, one of their newest and most cutting edge products. MINOTTI CUCINE is recognized worldwide for its  xcellence in design and high quality of its kitchens. Kitchens are made completely from stone and marble and countertops, as well as walls are uniquely mitered to create a one-of-a-kind, simple and serene environments. ARTELIER-CREATIVE’S Designers and craftsman were
also present to share their custom-designed metal-based lighting and furniture solutions. ARTELIER’S workshop is
conveniently located in Byram and functions as a  showroom/ meeting space, inviting the exchange of ideas and inspiration that enables unique designs. Because of this proximity, ARTELIER is able to collaborate with Designers and clients from a project’s inception to its final delivery – refining the product until it meets expectations
perfectly. Working from a blueprint, drawing, or simple evocative description, ARTELIER’S creative team can produce almost anything, in any size or scale. from gates, to doors, to stair railings, balconies, cabinets, window treatment hardware, door handles and art. Belgian owners, Alain Low and Laetitia Low of MARIES CORNER, an urban chic, hand-crafted, European furniture and soft seating manufacturer flew in to help introduce their European styled modern soft seating furniture as well as their collaborative design services. Most recently MARIES CORNER has launched production facilities in the US - North Carolina. All furniture marketed by MARIES CORNER Marie’s Corner is characterized by its comfort and high level of quality and materials. Mis en Scene has exclusive representation here in Fairfield County.  "RMS Residential has just launched and this event was created to make personal introductions, to network and to connect similar luxury services and products to the architectural and design community.” “We have been discreetly known as luxury home builders for the last fifteen years and recently we expanded our company and have enhanced our divisions to focus more attention and resources to the residential home building and renovations customer,” said Schipani.  Guests enjoyed assorted wines kindly donated by Le Wine Shop, a husband and wife owned specialty wine store located on 39 Elm Street in Greenwich.  Le Wine carries old and new world wines from all over the world including rare and vintage Bordeaux’s and Burgundy’s to sparling roses and Kosher wines. Le Wine Shop also offers home services where they help client’s set-up wine cellars in their home and help estimate the value of their wine collection.  An array of sparking Nestle Waters from lemon and orange flavored San Pellegrino’s to natural spring water, Aqua Panna, from Tuscany, were also donated and paired with modern Italian cuisine from Doppio Restaurant, also located in Greenwich right next door to Le Wine Shop.  RMS RESIDENTIAL recently launched in February 2012 as a division of the RMS Companies, founded in 1995 by Randy Salvatore.
