Our thoughts and sympathy go out to the families who lost loved ones in the Newtown, CT shooting. At the Child Guidance Center (CGC), we understand this tragedy may cause anxiety and distress for children and families. Help is available by calling 2-1-1 to speak with a trained crisis therapist. Additionally, CGC’s emergency mobile crisis staff are accessible 24x7 for those families experiencing an extreme reaction or who have more serious concerns and would like a therapist to go mobile to a home or other community location in Stamford, Greenwich, Darien and New Canaan.
A public Parent/Community Forum will be held on Monday, December 17th 5:30-6:30 at CGC, 196 Greyrock Place, Stamford.
