announces Scott Bulkley as Director of Lacrosse. An admired coach with an impressive track record, Bulkley has dedicated the past ten years to coaching high school and club lacrosse programs in Fairfield County. Bulkley was one of Fairfield County’s most decorated lacrosse players earning ’s first All-American honors. Bulkley went on to become the captain of the University of North Carolina Men’s Lacrosse team and a three time Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Champion.
Bulkley will run the lacrosse program at the new CPCT facility in Stamford, CT.
Programming will include lacrosse instruction, a competitive club team and competitive and recreational league play for both youth and adult. The CPCT lacrosse facility will be second to none boasting one of Connecticut’s largest indoor turf facilities (100yds x 55 yds), an indoor running track, high-end athletic training facilities, locker rooms and more.
“With Scott’s impressive coaching and playing resume as well as his vast knowledge of youth lacrosse in this area, we think he is the perfect person to lead our extensive lacrosse program. We couldn’t be more pleased to welcome him to our team,” commented Mollie Marcoux, Executive Director of CPCT.
Bulkley is heading in to his third year as the boys varsity lacrosse head coach. For six years prior to that, Bulkley was an associate head coach for the Darien boy’s high school lacrosse team, another regional powerhouse.
In Bulkley’s first year with Greenwich High School, he led the team to an FCIAC title. Prior to Greenwich, Bulkley helped lead Darien HS to five State Championships. Bulkley has coached more than 30 High School All Americans and four Connecticut Players of the Year.
He also coached the CT Chargers U/18 and U/17 Blue Teams, winning back-to-back Bison Brawls 2009-2010, the 2010 Bryant Shootout and the 2011 Crab City Challenge. Bulkley was named the MSG Varsity Coach of the Year in 2010.
Prior to Bulkley’s coaching career he was the Captain of the University of North Carolina Lacrosse team in 1995 and a member of three ACC Lacrosse Championship teams. Bulkley also went to the NCAA Lacrosse Final Four twice and upon graduation played professional box lacrosse for Major League Indoor Lacrosse on the Charlotte Cobras.

Bulkley is a graduate of Darien High School and a fifth grade teacher at Holmes school in Darien. Currently Bulkley resides in Darien with his wife and two children.
