Special Olympics Connecticut is currently seeking unwanted cars and trucks that can be resold or recycled to benefit athletes locally and throughout the state. Through its new “Recycle for Gold” Program, donated vehicles – in all conditions - are accepted, evaluated and either resold and recycled to generate funds. These funds will help provide year-round opportunities for individuals of all abilities to participate in sports and, through their experience, gain self-esteem, physical fitness, and a sense of pride and accomplishment. To donate a vehicle and find out more about “Recycle for Gold”, call 1-855-392-AUTO (2886) or visit www.recycleforgold.org.
