Register today for Camp SoundWaters, a unique day camp that offers a hands-on, up-close and personal experience in exploring and learning about nature, from nature, on the inspiring Long Island Sound waterfront. Camp sessions take place at Cove Island Park in Stamford at SoundWaters Coastal Education Center, on Holly Pond and Long Island Sound. SoundWaters is located less than 5 minutes off I-95, exit 9.
Each session features nature discovery for campers going into grades K-5 and small boat sailing for campers going into grades 4-8. The fun-filled days focus on hands-on science activities, including exploration, games, live animals, swimming, sailing and more.
Beginner and intermediate sailors learn to sail on 8’optimist sailboats on Holly Pond. Advanced sailors wishing to improve and challenge their skills sail on Pixels, a two-sail, 13’9” sloop.
