As part of the three-day Downtown Westport Foodie Fest, the Westport Downtown Merchants Association presentsBiergarten on the Green where guests will be able to sample many of the best micro and craft beers available. A complimentary tasting mug (first 400 poeple) and German-inspired lunch is included as well as the opportunity to watch celebrity chef and author Ian Knauer as he prepares delicious beer-infused bites for tasting and provides tips on how to include farm-fresh ingredients – and beer - in your own cooking. The Zany Oompah Band will provide entertainment.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a food donation for the Westport Farmers Market food drive to benefit the Gillespie Center of Homes with Hope.
