Ninja Stars, Toastmasters, Hackers and a Free Lunch

At the Ferguson Library, there's a lot going on, from a Lumina concert to learning how to make ninja stars (the origami kind) to standbys like Wiggle Worms. Check out the schedule here

At the Stamford Innovation Center, Junior Hacker Night kicks off at 6:30 p.m., so if you've got a youngster into tinkering with computer operations, this might be a cool event to check out. 

If you have students in a Stamford public school and could use a little financial assistance, there's a digital application live on the Stamford Public Schools homepage for free and reduced-cost lunches for students. 

The Greater Stamford Toastmasters Club meets Tuesdays at 7 p.m. and helps people "learn to speak with confidence" in public and "sharpens leadership skills." You can find them at Two Stamford Plaza, which is 281 Tresser Boulevard.
