  • Hey Stamford, your weather outlook for today is a high near 77 with showers and thunderstorms possible throughout the day, according to the National Weather Service. Tide charts show low tide hitting around 8:00 a.m. and 8:20 p.m. and high tide at around 2:05 a.m. and 2:10 p.m.

  • If you want to experience art but only have free time in the morning, visit neighboring Darien's Geary Gallery, which kicked off its "Summer Respite" show Wednesday and opens Thursday at 9:30 a.m. If you're available in the evening, neighboring Greenwich has a sculpture/painting show being presented by the Greenwich Arts Council.
