The Stamford Museum & Nature Center gets slithery Thursday with its Break Out Day: Year of the Snake! celebration. Starting at 11 a.m., children can learn about the 14 species of snake that call Connecticut home. 

Help a local business create a website and learn how to add links, pictures and text by joining the Ferguson Library's Makerspace program Thursday evening at 6 p.m. Some knowledge of HTML is helpful but not required. Online registration required.

Join the Avon Theater Thursday night for their Cult Classics night featuring the Bond film that solidifies the series into a formula: From Russia with Love. Check out Sean Connery nailing the role as Bond Thursday starting at 9 p.m. at 272 Bedford Street.
