Stamford police officers conducting a motor vehicle stop at 1:15 a.m. on Jefferson St. at Harborview Ave. discovered a suspect police recognized from prior incidents attempting to hide crack cocaine, they said Tuesday. Authorities approaching the vehicle during the stop discovered Jerrell Dennel Cook, 27, of the first block of Orchard St., sitting in the passenger's seat, police said. Stamford resident Luis Sarceno, 21, of 23 Wardwell St., and Kenneth Alfano, 20, of 26 Commerce St. in Norwalk, were arrested in connection to an incident where storm drain covers were going missing from around Shippan Point, according to authorities.
