Stamford Man Accidentally Shoots Himself in Leg
A man cleaning his semi-automatic gun on Thursday accidentally shot himself in the leg, but was in good condition late last night.
A 26-year-old Stamford man accidentally shot himself in the leg as he was cleaning his semi-automatic gun Thursday after returning home from a firing range.
The man returned to his home with a friend who was also at the range and began cleaning his gun when it went off at about 7 p.m., according to Stamford police.
The man was taken to Stamford Hospital, police said. No charges were filed.
