Gas Leak Near Stamford Transportation Center Snarls Vehicle, Train Traffic

A major gas line was struck at a construction area near One Station Place, according fire officials.

Officials are responding to a major gas leak at One Station Place near the Stamford train station, according to the Belltown Fire Department.

A major gas line was struck as a result of construction in the area and traffic on the Pulaski Street bridge is being shut down, officials on the scene told Stamford Patch.

According to Metro-North, all eastbound and westbound traffic on the New Haven line was temporarliy delayed due to fire department activity, but has since been restored.
